You know all the blogs, pictures and videos of awesome gals shreddin’ down steep faces, climbing crazy routes and doing wicked things that will get your adrenaline pumping and your heard pounding while you’re at your screen?

          This is  nothing like that.

This is just me, writing about what I love: skiing, climbing and adventures big and small in the outdoors. It is about travelling to do the things you long for when seeing crazy youtube videos, but don’t know how because you’re not at all that extreme.

I’m Marilyn Krukowski, from the beautiful kingdom of Sweden, and, probably like you, I love the outdoors!

I’m really an engineer. I studied for five years in Stockholm, but I was restless. To feed my urge for expanding my horizons I went a year to Switzerland as part of my studies and that is where I found three of my biggest loves: skiing, climbing and hiking. I can’t say I was any good at it then, and I wouldn’t say I am a star at it now, but I now have grand dreams of great adventures and these dreams keep pushing me to try harder, to get out there, to find new ways of doing more of what I love.

I have since worked at an office, but from time to time I break loose to follow my dreams of something greater.

I’m a genuinely and naturally thoughtful and cautious person who doesn’t like to take any risks. Being afraid of heights and terrified of freezing I always consider different worst-case scenarios in order to be prepared.
